Here are the Best Travel Tips for Families with Children!
1. Give Them a Camera! This will keep your kids busy on hikes, car rides, etc. Make sure it is very durable and has a protective case. i.e GoPro
2. Bring Tablets and Battery Packs. On long rides, or lulls in the excitement, a tablet loaded with games can be a life-saver from "Mommy, are we there yet?" or "I'm bored. I wanna go home"!
3. Have them write travel journals which make for a great, inexpensive keepsake, in which they can write and draw things they've encountered, such as local foods, (which might encourage them to try them).
4. Get a Tracking Device for your kid. With these nifty gadgets, you can access their locations via smartphone or computer.
5. Get your kids a dog tag with contact info/ write it on their arms, in case they get lost
